An interpretation of a photograph by Luis Brito, “Invertebrados por el crimen de paz” (Invertebrates for the Crime of Peace) combines the photographer’s interest in the human condition in psychiatric hospitals with Vívenes’ qualities as a visual artist. The image frozen by Brito generates a new type of language in Vívenes’ black-and-white representation, which seeks other visual themes such as gestures and emotions.
