An internationally renowned visual artist, he challenges the hardness and weight of metal, creating “airy” forms that give the impression of lightness. In his process, he somehow ‘tears’ the sheet metal as if it were a “sheet of paper.” The hardness of steel becomes an image of lightness.

His work seeks to demonstrate a balanced relationship between plane, form, color, material, and space. Relying on the benefits of metal, and using mainly curved lines, he softens the rigid moments of geometry and finds a way to represent the subtleties and behaviors of flexible materials such as paper in the severity of metal, in such a way that he finds a rhythm in shapes and colors.
